Hey y’all, today I wanna share with you a delicious recipe that I recently discovered: Tofaille! This dish is perfect for any occasion - whether you’re feeding your family or entertaining a whole party, it’s sure to satisfy everyone’s taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 200 g of smoked bacon
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Instructions:

  1. Peel and cut potatoes into thin slices.
  2. Peel onions and garlic, and chop finely.
  3. Cut bacon into small pieces.
  4. In a frying pan over medium heat, put 1 tablespoon of olive oil, add onions and garlic, and cook until golden brown.
  5. Add bacon and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes.
  6. In a large pan over medium-low heat, put 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter.
  7. Add a layer of potatoes and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Add a layer of bacon and onions on top of the potatoes.
  9. Repeat layers until all potatoes, bacon, and onions are used.
  10. Cover the pan and cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
  11. Uncover and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through and have a crispy top.
