Hey y’all, today I wanna share with you a delicious recipe that I recently discovered: Tofaille! This dish is perfect for any occasion - whether you’re feeding your family or entertaining a whole party, it’s sure to satisfy everyone’s taste buds.
Tofaille
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of potatoes
- 2 onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 200 g of smoked bacon
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 tablespoon of butter
Instructions:
- Peel and cut potatoes into thin slices.
- Peel onions and garlic, and chop finely.
- Cut bacon into small pieces.
- In a frying pan over medium heat, put 1 tablespoon of olive oil, add onions and garlic, and cook until golden brown.
- Add bacon and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes.
- In a large pan over medium-low heat, put 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Add a layer of potatoes and season with salt and pepper.
- Add a layer of bacon and onions on top of the potatoes.
- Repeat layers until all potatoes, bacon, and onions are used.
- Cover the pan and cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the potatoes are cooked through and have a crispy top.
