A sarcive is a type of sausage, which is made from pork or chicken, or even a combination of both. It is usually seasoned with a variety of spices and herbs, making it a truly flavorful dish. Now that we know what a sarcive is let’s start with how to make it: Ingredients: - 1kg of chicken or pork meat (make sure it’s ground) - 2 tbsp olive oil - 2 tbsp freshly ground black pepper - 1 tbsp smoked paprika - 1 tsp cumin powder - 1 tsp ground coriander - 1 tsp cayenne pepper - 1 tsp dried thyme - 4 cloves of garlic, minced - 1 onion, chopped - 1 tbsp soy sauce - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce - Salt to taste Instructions: 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, olive oil, black pepper, smoked paprika, cumin powder, ground coriander, cayenne pepper, dried thyme, minced garlic, and chopped onion. Mix them well until the meat is evenly coated with the spices. 2. Once the meat has been seasoned, add the soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce, and mix it again until everything is combined. Leave the meat to rest and marinate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors develop. 3. After the meat has been marinated well, take a handful of the meat mixture and mold it into a sausage shape around a skewer, making sure to press it tightly together to prevent it from falling off. 4. Once you’ve formed the sausages, it’s time to grill them! Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and place the skewered sausages on the grill, making sure to turn them occasionally, until they are cooked through and have charred marks on them. 5. Once the sausages are done, remove them from the grill, and you’re ready to serve!
