Recette Hanouka : Hanouka 750g Beignets Recettes

Ah, Hanouka! The Festival of Lights brings about so much joy, and what better way to celebrate than by making some delicious Soufganioth or beignets! This fried treat is the perfect way to mark this special occasion, and it’s easy to make too!

Ingredients:

  • 500g of flour
  • 10g of dry yeast
  • 80g of sugar
  • 60ml of oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 250ml of water
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, salt, eggs, oil and water. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
  2. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and set aside in a warm place for 1 hour. The dough should rise by then.
  3. After 1 hour, heat up the oil in a frying pan on medium heat. You can use a deep fryer if you have one.
  4. Using a tablespoon or a cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the dough gently into the hot oil. Be careful not to overcrowd the pan.
  5. Fry the beignets until golden brown on both sides. This should take around 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the beignets from the oil using a slotted spoon and transfer them onto a plate lined with a paper towel to drain off the excess oil.
  7. Serve hot with a dusting of powdered sugar on top!

Whether you’re making these Soufganioth for Hanouka or just because you fancy a sweet treat, they are sure to impress! Plus, they’re a great activity to do with family and friends to celebrate this special time of the year. Happy Hanouka!
