Ingredients:
- 1 Panuozzo bread
- 2 slices of Prosciutto
- 2 slices of Mozzarella cheese
- 1 Tomato
- 1/4 cup of Arugula
- 1 tablespoon of Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
To start off, preheat your oven to 200°C. Cut the Panuozzo bread in half, lengthwise. Drizzle some olive oil on the inside of the bread and sprinkle some salt and pepper if desired.
Place the bread, open-faced, on a baking sheet and put it in the oven for about 5 minutes until the bread is crispy.
While the bread is in the oven, slice the tomato into thin slices and tear the Prosciutto into smaller pieces. Set aside.
Take the bread out of the oven and top one half of the bread with the sliced tomatoes, followed by the Prosciutto and Mozzarella cheese.
Place the bread back in the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Take the bread out of the oven and top the sandwich with a handful of arugula. Place the other half of the bread on top of the sandwich.
