Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, bring the water, milk, butter, sugar and salt to a boil.
  2. Add flour and mix well until it forms a smooth dough that pulls away from the sides of the pan.
  3. Add one egg at a time, mixing well after each addition. The dough should be smooth and glossy.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375F (190C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Using a spoon, pipe the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, making golf ball-sized mounds.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. To make the cream filling, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract together until stiff peaks form.
  8. Using a piping bag, pipe the cream into the center of each choux pastry.
  9. Serve and enjoy!
