  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 pound ground lamb
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/2 tablespoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, pork, and lamb.
  2. Add the minced garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and baking soda to the meat mixture. Use your hands to mix well and incorporate all the ingredients.
  3. Cover the mixing bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. This will allow the flavors to meld together.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the meat mixture from the refrigerator and shape it into small sausage-like shapes, about 3-4 inches long each. Be sure to wet your hands with water so the meat doesn’t stick to your hands as easily.
  6. Place the cevapi on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and crispy on the outside and fully cooked on the inside.
  7. Once the cevapi are cooked, remove them from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
